The Africa Decarbonization Cluster (ADC) is committed to accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy across Africa. Our mission is to support innovative, low-carbon projects, promote sustainable technologies, and foster partnerships that drive economic and environmental progress. By empowering local innovators and supporting project development, we aim to achieve net-zero emissions across the continent.

Our Approach
ADC’s approach is multifaceted, addressing the key areas necessary for a green transition:
Project Development & Support: Assisting in the creation and funding of low-carbon projects and supporting entrepreneurs, startups, and companies that contribute to net-zero goals.
Innovation and R&D: Promoting research and the development of cutting-edge technologies, including solar photovoltaics, wind power, bioenergy, smart grids, energy storage, and electric mobility.
Capacity Building: Providing training, awareness programs, and knowledge sharing to foster low-carbon technology adoption and implementation.
Monitoring & Technological Advancements: Conducting carbon footprint assessments in cities and industrial areas and tracking technological and regulatory advancements.

The ADC Network (ADCN) is a vibrant community of experts in education, R&D, and green innovation, focused on Africa's green transition, digital transformation, and sustainable development. Our members include over 20 organizations, such as SMART CONCEPT SOLUTION, EMICARB, and VERO INNOREM, all committed to advancing Africa's decarbonization goals. Together, we work to reduce Africa’s carbon footprint, facilitate joint projects, and share valuable scientific and technical insights.
